The Azria Home 2160 is a spacious home with a fun layout meant for socializing and family gatherings. The entire home is organized around a central Great Room — combining the Family Room, Dining Room and Kitchen. This ranch style single story home feels much larger than its actual square footage. The welcoming front porch overhang and rear patio outdoor dining area create a home that lives beyond its walls. With long sight lines, the 2160 would be right at home in the desert, dramatically set on a beach or tucked away and protected in the forest. If you’re not lucky enough to have one of those dramatic properties, this home will thrive in a suburban setting as well. Bicycles and swimming pools are all part of its vibe.
2160 — Design Highlights
Clad in a warm fiber-cement siding, the 2160 is perfectly suited for the young family with children, the elderly grandparents with visiting grandkids or the entrepreneurial couple with a home office. The large bedrooms, each with its own private bath, are retreats large enough for you to take refuge in at the end of the day or on a sleepy Sunday afternoon. A spacious open plan kitchen invites all family members. While the kids are doing their homework, watching TV or practicing guitar, the wanna-be chef parents are all within sight where the family is encouraged to be together, regardless of the activity they’re involved in. Large dual paned glass doors are a re-occurring highlight in an Azria Home as they visually and physically invite the outside in.
2160 — Materials
Our homes are supported by steel building modules. We love the benefits of working in steel and utilize steel with content that is between 17-20% recycled. Our incremental goal is to increase the recycled steel content of our modules by 5% annually in order to reach our ultimate goal of building 100% recycled steel structures. We also use non-toxic caulks, adhesives and low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints. All of our appliances are Energy Star rated and our ultra efficient heating and cooling systems will keep you comfortable in the most severe weather. Without exception, all of our lighting is LED. We work with any buyers who want to integrate a tied-to-the-grid electric solar power systems. It won’t be long before the cost of water is equivalent to the cost of gasoline, and thus our homes conserve water above and beyond what is required by law. We use low flow shower heads, dual-flush toilets and under-sink flow restrictors and we encourage the integration of affordable greywater systems and drought resistant landscaping.
